POLICY
 


Backorders

We do our best to stock all products offered on our web site, however, there may be times when a particular product is not available when we receive your order.  If we do not expect to be able to ship a product within a reasonable time frame we will notify you by either mail, or e-mail of the status of your order.  You will have the option of canceling your order and receive a refund if you prepaid for the merchandise.  If we do not hear from you, we will assume you wish us to ship you the products ASAP.


Returns

All sales are final with the exception of damaged or defective merchandise. If you receive a damaged or defective item from us, return the item to us and we will:

A) Exchange that item with another of the same item that was originally purchased.

B) Reimburse you the cost of mailing the item back to us (First Class Mail only) provided the following conditions are met:

1) The returned item must be complete in the original box (if any) along with  instructions, spare parts, etc.  Any incomplete returned merchandise will not be accepted.

2) Damaged or defective merchandise must be returned (postmarked) to us within 10 days of receiving it.

3) The original or a copy of the original receipt must be included.

In regard to damaged merchandise, the item must have been damaged before or during the shipping process.  If the item is returned to us and it is apparent that the item was damaged because of abuse on the buyer's part, the item will be returned "as is" via First Class Mail only and no reimbursement for shipping cost will be given.

Any returned item that we deem is undamaged and perfectly functional will be returned to the sender

Exclusions

This return policy excludes any merchandise that comes with a manufacturer's warranty and any consumable items, such as tobacco.  Merchandise that comes with a manufacturer's warranty must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

Shipping

All items shipped will be verified with Delivery Confirmation through the United States Postal Service.
Detroit Tobacco Corp. is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged merchandise after shipping.  Insurance is available upon request through our toll free number 1-877-580-8860 for an additional charge.

Sales & Use Tax

Customers residing outside the state of Michigan are responsible for the payment of any applicable state and local taxes to the appropriate tax collection agency.

 

Federal and state laws prohibit the sale of tobacco products to minors.  By using and
purchasing products from this web site you are acknowledging to us you are of age
in your state to purchase and receive tobacco products.
